Our small team focuses on two areas: developing and maintaining our own Shopify application, Discount Hub — Bulk & Cart Sale, and providing consultancy and development support services to other Shopify merchants. We help them realize what they need to build or maintain in their Shopify stores.
We believe that shipping our own application to the App Store plays a critical role in scoping our consultancy services correctly.
Many agencies that provide App development and theme building consultancy services for Shopify merchants rarely maintain any application themselves. By developing and maintaining our own application, we are in the exact same conditions as our clients regarding the technical and maintenance aspects of the App Store and Shopify in general. We have to go through the same App Store review process, provide similar support services for our application and respond to the same technical challenges as our clients would have to address when they work with our consultancy services.
Scoping always comes before building
We will provide you with a detailed scope of work that describes, among other information, what we are going to build/configure for you, how much time it will take us, and how much it will cost before we begin developing or configuring anything.
We use Shopify's recommended tools
When we develop applications or themes for Shopify, we use the tools and technologies Shopify recommends. We utilize Shopify Functions, the latest version of Shopify Admin APIs, and the Online Store 2.0 view Shopify recommends merchants use.
We provide support after launch
When we deliver any project, we always provide you with a support plan. We recommend it, but we never sell it as an additional service because Shopify platform software changes often, and the code we deliver to you must continue to work in the long run.
