The Pys is a small, focused team working on two things at once: building and maintaining Shopify apps — including our own published app, Discount Hub — Bulk & Cart Sale — and helping other merchants with the app development, theme work, and store setup that running a Shopify business actually requires.
Shipping our own app keeps our consulting honest.
A lot of agencies build Shopify apps and themes for clients without ever maintaining a published app of their own. We do both. Discount Hub — Bulk & Cart Sale runs on live merchant stores today, which means we deal with the same App Store review process, Shopify API changes, and support requests that any merchant using our client work will eventually deal with too. It keeps the advice we give grounded in what actually holds up in production, not just what looks good in a proposal.

Every engagement starts with a written scope — what we're building, how long it takes, and what it costs — before any development starts. No open-ended hourly billing on undefined work.
We build on Shopify's current tooling
Our app and theme work uses Shopify's current frameworks — Shopify Functions, the current Admin API versions, and Online Store 2.0 — rather than older approaches that Shopify is gradually deprecating.
We stay around after launch
Anything we build comes with a support arrangement, not a one-time handoff. Shopify's platform changes regularly, and we keep what we've built working as it does.
